Catch up Blog, Part 2.

Still have a few photos up my sleeve for April, so this is catch up Part 2.

Mereworth, 21st of April, and i saw 2 moths which i dont know what they are(day-flying i would think?) no doubt Dean(The Moth Man) could help on these.
This 2nd moth was very small, and also very hard to get a pic of!!!

Mereworth once again, 22nd of April, and i saw my 1st Small Copper of 2011.

It had been a couple of months since I had took my son to the Larkfield lakes, so that's where we headed on the 25th of April.
I just wish i could have got these 2 Whitethroat shots in focus, because they were a little off.

We also saw some Green Hairstreak there too. Which was a 1st for the both of us.

Oh, and one of these was a bit of a surprise! i think its a red-eared slider? turtle/terrapin.

And not forgetting that local man himself Mr. Phil Sharp, who we bumped into, he was pretty pleased with himself for sure too, he said something about photos of a Red Kite...the lucky lucky swine that he is!
And to round off for part 2, Mereworth the 26th of April, Shield Bugs mating.

  2. Paul ,
Enjoyed your two catch up posts , with a good mixed bag of photos .
I could have IDd the first moth if 'the man' hadn't , only because 'the man' IDd it for me a while back !
